End of October ramblings + November Preview

Happy Halloween! How is everyone doing?

I had a pretty rough October, not gonna lie. It's always my most anticipated month (Halloween!) but without fail it always winds up being a disaster for me lol. October really wound up being more disastrously hectic than September, with me getting in a car accident at the start of the month and having to deal with added nonsense from my move... That all would've been fine, manageable, but I also put a lot on my plate art-wise and... it all kinda collapsed on me mid-month. Thankfully, I've managed to mostly catch myself back up so November has a (relatively) fresh start.

Art Poll Winner: This month's winner was Soul Eater! This is a theme I've really been wanting to do, so I'm glad to see it finally come up on the list.

My art has been trending fatter and fatter the past few months, and I've had some good reception to it... but I'm going to be scaling it back significantly for November. I just wanna draw some cute chubby characters, not full-on ham planets this month lol. The Maka sequence in particular will be very scaled down weight-wise compared to recent sequences, but I intend on putting a lot of love and care into it. (#1 Waifu for laifu deserves only the best!)

Thicker Treat Sweets: I've already discussed this in a post earlier for everyone in the Frisky Feline tier, but after being thrown far off track for October, Sweets will be making it's (for real this time) debut to a page-a-week schedule on Wednesday, November 10th, with public pages starting up a month later.

Donut Delinquent: I've drawn Hana a ton this month, almost just as much if I'd been doing weekly comic pages... but it wasn't for Donut Delinquent. I've been involved in a special Halloween game project with some big names in the community, and while it unfortunately won't be ready in time for Halloween, I hope you'll enjoy Hana's inclusion in Five Nights with Fatties 2!

That said, my work on this project has taken up the time I would be working on Donut Delinquent, so the project has basically been on creative hiatus since mid-September, right before my move, as I'm sure you're all aware with the lack of updates... Thankfully, this has allowed me to think about the big picture from a distance, giving me a bit better perspective on where to go forward.

So while Donut Delinquent won't be relaunching around Thanksgiving like I planned, The gears are starting to turn for it once more, and I hope to start making semi-regular "Donut Delivery" posts again this month, the first one hopefully covering Hana's inclusion in FNWF 2!
