Scale Sorrow So Far

So like, the first image was made back in November 2019, as part of a written story I planned on doing involving Sam. It was right in the middle of a really bad mental health period for me though... so it wound up not happening, and the piece was kind of just left on it's own. I eventually just posted it on it's own, giving it the title "Sam's Scale Sorrow."
Fast forward to March, and one of my friends decides to commission a sequel, with Sam having plumped another hundred pounds, and realizing she can't even see the scale now. We discussed a potential third part with Sam's sometimes boyfriend Liam, and I wound up adding a little tease at the end for a third part if I did it.
Flash to now, and we wound up negotiating another comm with the spotlight on Liam this time! He's significantly fatter since I last drew him, in fact I think this is the biggest boy I've ever drawn! Now he gets to experience a little bit of Sam's scale sorrow....
This is a sequence I'm really coming to adore, and I've got plans for at least one more little part with the two of them even more immense... How much more scale sorrow can they handle? How much can the scale itself handle? Find out next time!
