Well, I suppose calling Ryoko here is new girl is a little disingenuous, as she's existed for a couple years now, I just haven't done anything with her! Originally designed back in October 2018 for the comic that became IN-FAT-UATION, I cut her as the story evolved. But with me trying to expand Class 3-A of Kabocha Academy to be a bit more full-figured, I thought I'd pull her up from the depths...
Here's the original art I did for her back then, the only other time I've drawn her until now! You can also see prototypes for Kimi, Sam, Lsibeth, Sakura (who was Yui back then!) and the boy who became Leo. There's also a rather interesting girl named Tsukiko there... I wonder if she might re-appear in some form or another... ;)
But yeah, I thought Ryoko would make a nice addition to the cast! A super-sporty girl who would fit right in with Miss Rachel, becoming a bit of an unconventional teacher's pet type. (She's a nice, friendly girl, though!) I'll let the profile itself do the rest of the talking...
Edit: So like, I can only fit four outfits on the ref sheet template, and the four I did were the most important... but I drew one more that has a relatively important detail to her appearance... It's the swimsuit she wears at the beach, and how she gets her tan lines!
