Shifting focus
Added 2020-07-16 08:03:43 +0000 UTCAfter giving it some thought, I've decided to move up the "girl spotlight" chapters to the next on my comic to-do list, starting with the winner of my previos poll, "All Bitter, No Sweet" starring Hana and Yui.
I like Chapter 1 of KACC, but I also feel like it's a poor introduction to the story. I tried to introduce too many concepts and characters at once, and for what I intended on being a very female fanservice centered story, I really pulled an "Oops, all gay!" with the amount of Leo and Milo fanservice in it. I just kept telling myself "there'll be more girl stuff later" while giving off a bad first impression for the story.
The events of chapter 1 still happen, but these three "spotlight" chapters will supplant it as the starting point. This will also mark a change in focus from chapter 1, with the story being more squarely focused on the girls from scene to scene, not Leo. He'll still get plenty of focus, being a driving force behind the plot, but the story will no longer be entirely from Leo's POV.
I'm sure this is going to be a popular change unlike my previous major changes, "more girl" is never a bad thing lol (though this isn't the end for chubby dudes, don't get me wrong!)
So yeah, not cancelling or rebooting the comic or anything like that (I've put an unholy amount of autistic work into this during the pandemic lol, no way in hell am I wrecking this), just shifting focus. As a reward for reading all that, here's a follow up to the image included in my last little text-wall.
Thanks for reading, expect more soon!
