Quiet Curvy Cutie (New Tablet!)

Aaaand I'm back in business! Took most of the day to figure out the new tablet, the biggest challenge being learning to look down again when drawing lol. Once I got really going with it though, I was amazed at how much more comfortable I am! My old tablet was an absolute mess before it finally broke, with multiple dead spots and almost no pressure sensitivity to speak of, and after working with this new one, I'm kicking myself for not ditching the old one sooner!

For my first piece on it, I wanted to revisit the design of one of my favorite characters, Lisbeth. I really like the design I came up with her for KACC, there were just certain aspects of it I felt could use some fine-tuning. Her hair in particular was something I wanted to redesign, I made it a little bit bigger and wilder (Used Bernadetta from Fire Emblem Three Houses as a reference) I also worked on her face a bit more, making her eyes a bit bigger and tweaking the design of her glasses. (Drawing glasses on characters is so much harder than it looks!) As for her clothes, I tweaked her sweater to be a bit more realistic looking and gave her a more proper bra rather than the weird tank-top sports bra looking thing I initially drew her with...

I'm likely gonna give all the characters a refreshed design like this, and start drawing them all with the changes in mind starting with chapter 2. Chapter 1 only has five or six pages left in it, so I'm still gonna use the "old" designs for everyone for those last few pages. (if you can't tell, I love drawing character designs. I'm gonna keep everyone looking mostly consistent for the course of the comic, but I'm not gonna stop myself from say, altering hair a little or tweaking a clothing design if I suddenly decide I can do better.)

I really hope you like how this turned out and see the improvement with the new tablet, as I'm extremely proud of this! Expect the next page of the comic in the next couple days.
