IN-FAT-UATION CHAPTER 1.5 PAGE 10 (END)

And we're done with chapter 1.5, our little introduction to Hana and Yui!

Panel 1:

-I absolutely love how the two girls turned out on this page, they look so good with their swollen bellies in those tight swimsuits lol.

-drawing the fence on both this panel and panel two absolutely killed me, I admittedly got a little lazy and dropped it for panel 3.

Panel 2:

-Nobody else has mentioned it, but one gripe I've personally had with my work on IN-FAT-UATION is that the school has been a little... empty except for our main characters, with only a few generic background students appearing here and there. Well, I intend on rectifying that from here on out!

Say hi to Sakura! She's the first of a few students who'll be appearing in our main characters' class. Long time followers of mine will notice that she's the original version of Yui I intended on writing in my Tubby in Tokyo story that never took off. Back then she was gonna be more of a "gyaru" type, obsessed with american culture, instead of the "2nd rate Kimi" Yui has become today. Well, I took that original portrayal and made a new character out of it!

Characters like Sakura won't be main characters in the story like Kimi, Lisbeth, Leo, Hana and Yui, but they'll have lines when appropriate, fill crowds, and you might see their own weight gain stories going on in the background ;) Hell, if you guys love em' I might give other students like her their own full stories after I finish IN-FAT-UATION. No promises, though.

Panel 4:

-Here we see MeowMeowMicah in a little hot tub, scheming about their plan to fatten up all the girls in Japan... Their little plot, and Hana/Yui's part in it, will of course not be center stage (that still goes to our little love triangle), but it's gonna be a major setting later on, and the concert Hana and Yui bought tickets to will kind of be a climax point for the entire story...

Misc. Notes:

From here on out, Hana and Yui will have a bigger prescence in the main chapters than they did here. I wanted to set up the plot with MeowMeowMicah, sure, but this chapter also kinda happened because I didn't have room to introduce these two in the first one proper. Chapter 2.5, when I get to it, won't even involve these two... who it will involve? That's a secret.

Admittedly, I was slow as hell getting this mini-chapter done. It took me all of February and a week of March to do 10 pages, when I had managed 30 pages back in January... I suppose things were slightly busier, but still, my work ethic kinda sucked. Well, time to fix that with chapter 2!! Expect the cover image tomorrow or the next day!
