IN-FAT-UATION GAIDEN: HANA AND YUI announcement
Added 2019-01-22 13:15:32 +0000 UTCI thought I'd talk about this on here for now since ya'll have a good idea on how the story is shaping up so far, don't wanna dump this on my deviantart watchers when they haven't even read any of the IN-FAT-UATION comic proper yet...
So over the past few weeks, my plans for IN-FAT-UATION have... condensed. Initially, I envisioned this as a huge, ongoing story that I'd only end when I got bored with/felt the characters story arcs had been wrapped up/they got too fat for me to like drawing anymore lol. That... wasn't the smartest way of looking at this project.
It's my first big undertaking like this, and I actually intend on seeing it to the end (unlike literally every other story of mine), so I trimmed things significantly, and now the series will fit snugly into six 30-40 page chapters. Now, that's still pretty huge, coming in at around 200 pages, but it's something I think I can manage.
Now... here's the problem. Lisbeth, Leo, and Kimi (and secret fourth character) are going to have nice, fully fleshed out character arcs over the course of this story... but now there's little to no room for Kimi's two best friends, Yui and Hana to have good, characterful weight gain stories themselves. I really like the characters and wanna plump them up, they just unfortunately don't fit in the love triangle story I've set up with my main characters, all they can really do is support Kimi and comment on the situation Stalter and Waldorf style, and I want more for them than that!
So here's the plan: in between chapters of the main IN-FAT-UATION story, Yui and Hana are going to get 5-10 page mini-chapters devoted entirely to them and their own widening waistlines. You'll get the main story with them in it as side characters, and then their own spotlight showing their own story, what they were doing while Leo, Lisbeth and Kimi were off battling for each other's love!
