Quick Update On Things To Come

Giving a quick update here to say things are now slowly starting to look up, been missing you all and felt it was time to come back strong and good ;)

This month off was definitely, I feel, the best move I could ever do for everyone.

Been rethinking a few things here and there and couldn't help but see I definitely needed a bit of time to make some stuff for myself for once, bringing back more casual stuff to help me think straight for once.

Continued a bit posting on other sites some random stuff and seems it definitely felt good not to have that constant stress about time limits and all that; had mind cleared for thinking about where I wanted things to go and how I would proceed.

With this moment of calm and with my mind cleared, I ended up checking a bit for ideas of how I'll get things back on track on everything, which brings me here for sharing some good news and a bit of changes being planned for the coming month. As some may guess, I am planning to reopen the page on August ;)

As some might have noticed a bit over time, the Private Sketch Streams were always a bit of a source of trouble for everyone, which had me feeling they were the main source of stress among the community and even myself. Lots of time constraints, odd schedules and sometimes IRL coming clashing with it, which didn't helped much...especially when mixing things with my relatively odd schedules due to my job. On top of the relatively wacky schedules, these streams ended up kind of forcing some unneeded favoritism and even having some hurrying to get in front of everyone, which made a few stressed and angry about how things were. Mixing odd schedules with a process which could get easily abused was just all like having a bomb waiting to blow up at any moment, it definitely needed to be dealt with. This was the main point I needed to get fixed for the page.

So here I am, with some new plan here to switch how things will be handled.

Private Streams will be replaced, completely, by Monthly Themed YCHs, done once a month at any given time.

While going for this type of reward, it'll go fixing a few things in one shot: time constraints, rushing for hogging the event without allowing others in and stress of not making equal amounts of efforts on each months.
The YCHs will have 4-5 slots like I usually do with how I handle YCH drawings, so this'll be something I'm already pretty much used to do and won't be too much unknown ground. From what I could see, they already are events most liked and are definitely something I'm willing to keep doing. Advantages of YCHs are they're easy to fit with the themes, allow enough freedom for scenes all while also allowing it to feature either my characters or others' characters, along with patrons getting the YCH slots ;)

The YCHs will still be handled like they used to be handled back in the past, starting as Early Access Slots on the Discord server and becoming public on Twitter after an amount of time, so everyone, even non patrons, can have a shot at the YCHs, if ever curious.
Considering I also need to add a bonus to YCH stuff for patrons, I'll be making Patron slots half priced since they already get other bonuses too on top of that through other features from the Patreon page. As example: public slots tend to be 10$ whenever I make YCHs, so patrons will have it at 5$ all while also having the other Patreon features.

With these changes in sight, I feel we can get something good from all of it, which is why I'm happy sharing these news with all of you to show I'm still around and willing to get everything back on track once and for all.

Another thing making me happy of these changes is how it wasn't requiring a massive remake of everything, showing we definitely had for years a solid base for this Patreon page. I also can't help but thank everyone on the Discord server, all over my other pages and even on private messages who gave feedback and ideas of ways to fix all of this through this month, this truly was some crazy help and I just can't thank you all enough for this.

I'll be sure to keep you all up to date for when things will get started again, so expect more news on August 1st ;)
