Lets Talk Fan Gating - Artist Union is Broken

Afternoon Champs, a warm welcome to alot of new subscribers, today i wanna talk about fan gating, how artist union is broken and why hype edit is still #1

Before i start i wanna be clear im not endorsed by Hype Edit i just jack them off because they have never let us down in years and if you use artist union, if you have tunes linked to fan gate on artist union, change it now, they are all broken, have been for weeks, there somthing up with the company and your losing valuable downloads and click throughs right now.

SO lets bust some fucking myths im gonna break this down nice and simple, fan gating is not cheating, it never has been, its just a way to get more out of your free downloads.

For those who don`t know Fan gating is when you use a third party app/website to setup what happens when the public download your free download on soundcloud.

For example; You Put up a free download on soundcloud, you use a fan gate to make people do certain things before they can download your tune such as:  like the song, leave a comment, follow you and repost the song. There is also an extra add on that allows you to make them follow you on instagram, facebook, spotify and to give you their email address.

This is all incredibly fucking handy champs because hey, they are getting a free download and it takes them 2 seconds to do this right? 

Loads of companies are SHIT at it. They add profiles into the follows, they overcharge you for add ons you dont need, they jack your stats and their customer services is shit. Hype Edit is not shit at it, it gives you full control of everything for a small fee per month, same as soundcloud pro, if you wanna do somthing, pay a little for it, it always works better. We have used this for years, we have 63,000 Soundcloud followers and we have released atleast 60+ Free downloads. You do the math if it works or not. We got sick after seeing 1000 people download our song and only 50 of them liked it, we decided enough was enough and took it into our own hands.

Anyway, im not gonna jack them off to much, but they are great but im sure there are other competitors just as good out there but we are not which magazine, were just giving you our expierence.

Alot of people do this and it will continue to play a big part in the industry for years to come im sure. Hope this helps one of you out, stay frosty.
