I don't usually point out the fact that the story is now divided in chapters because it makes it look like there is going to be a pause whenever a chapter is finished, since I intend the comic to just keep going every week, but chapter 2 is almost over!,. So by chapter 3 I intend to do some stylistic changes hoping that my schedule will allow me to keep this level of quality consistent.
I made a test panel to check these new changes and so far I'm really liking the new extra shadows and highlights on the characters, and also dont take that much extra time from my current workflow so this will be the quality I will be aiming going forward. (send your good wishes so it stays consistent!!)
I also did a test for colored panels, and while I do love the look of it, colors do take a bit more time to get right and my schedule would be a lot more tight if I start to add it going forward. I don't want to push it too much because I want this comic to be running for as long as possible so any extra minute I put into this, it's gonna accumulate into hours in the long run.
So for now, hope you like the new look of Wildly Normal. I always try to do my best every week for you guys, and already learned a lot in the last 6 months this coming has been running, hoping to improve little by little over time!
