Added 2023-10-23 00:18:52 +0000 UTCWanted to try practicing with my G-pen nib since I haven't done that in a hot minute. Sorry that it's just a photo, I didn't feel like scanning it in, haha. I gotta knock off the cobwebs a bit more, but it's cool working with a dip pen again! Got to try out my Deleter ink for the first time too! (only took me a year to open the bottle, ha)
Waiting to get a new brush in the mail too, so I can see how that feels to ink with as well. I'm....okay with a nib, but it's a little trickier than using a brush pen or a Micron pen, since I have to change up my grip depending which way I wanna draw a line. I think with a bit more practice I'll get the technique down, but it's definitely an adjustment from my usual tools. I feel like maybe with a brush I'll have a little more freedom in terms of which ways I can make my line strokes.
