Xill isn't the only Djinni that serves in a core, but unlike other, larger more powerful Djinni that power things like cities and Core battery plants, Xill isn't allowed to take a break once he's tired. He has to literally have all the energy drained from him until he goes *poof*, so yeah it's a little dark I suppose. Poor Tsenaya is his last chance!
I especially like her "I'm not sure about this dude" look in panel 3 of page 16 hahah- had a lot of fun drawing her "doubt" face.
Let's hope our danger-noodle makes the right dialog choices!
