Maeko's been keeping her cool all along, but quickly loses it when Kaera opens her big, bird mouth!
It was a real challenge to get the right amount of anger for Maeko, especially on page 13. Her face in the middle panel in particular needed a few redraws before I was happy with her level of unhappiness X3.
Meanwhile, I really want Kaera to be, if not a "deadpan" character, then at least one that doesn't usually show a lot of emotion...for all you Trekkies out there, I was thinking she might sound and act like a TNG/DS9 Romulan. Not quite as deadpan as Vulcans, but nearly as logical and ruthless in the way they think.

Could have chosen to play in part in order to see if there was any kind of remorse for her actions? Or just trying to remember the good times because they're never coming again.
