Jackals & Batteries: Page 07-09 WIP

Tsenaya, left all alone with the captive djinn-in-a-jar Xill tries to get more information out of him as to what the heck he's on about. Again, trying to balance Tsenaya as being a kind, but very tired person who doesn't really have the energy or patience for niceties at this point.
XIll is pretty tired too- having your energy sucked out of you to power a transport ship isn't easy, so he's being a bit short with Tsenaya as well. It's kinda hard to portray good people when they're tired and miserable in such a way that you still like them after they've said things, but I'm doing my best!
Finally, we've got Kaera and Maeko's debut page!
I've been looking forward to getting these two into the story and now I finally get to let them strut their stuff...Kaera's going in for the "kill"- I wonder if she's got the cards to get that bra off in their little game of strip-poker?
In any case, please enjoy the WIP's! Still working on securing a new apartment but hoping to have these all done by month's end. Wish me luck!

I wanna say that my wolf boy Lane looks WAY more tired than Tsenaya does (long story), but it'd good to see that - despite her tired demeanor - she'll somehow make a friend with XIII. π And best of luck with securing your new apartment! I'll be moving into my very first apartment this July, so that makes us both. π
