I'm doing this for two reasons: First, I'd like to have a backup of my activity here on Patreon, just in case they change their ToS again to make this site not quite so friendly towards adult pixel-slingers.
Also, the Waystone comics were originally supposed to incorporate hypnotism and light vampirism (did you notice all the snakes slithering around?), but when Patreon banned both topics I was forced to change the story mid-swing to dis-include those things. You can see one of the original pages that was supposed to be hypno on Sleepless Nights page 11.
In any case, as it states on my Subscribestar "goals" if enough people use it as an alternative I'd branch into the stuff Patreon banned over there. If not, at least it's a stable alternative and backup to Patreon!
Finally, as you can see in the headline images I've brought Captain Olia forward to be a full sketch. I tried my best to keep the "life" of the thumbnail, but as you move forward with these things that gets a lot harder as things tend to flatten until you hit the shading stage. I hope you enjoy the sketches! The final file-set will have maybe 1 or two other options, but if you have any special requests don't be afraid to pop them in the comments!

I'm actually not sure? Subscribestar is absolutely horrible at handling high-resolution files. It won't let me upload anything bigger than 2000x2000, which I don't consider as being HD. As such, I don't feel it's right to charge people Oracle and Pharaoh pricing for what I consider to be sub-standard resolution images in the feed. It's a toughie because I could link the HD images via Dropbox, sure, but that means I always have to keep them linked, which I'm not very comfortable with (scalpers and bots will be able to access them on a permanent basis). It's an awkward situation and I still haven't quite figured it out. Seeing as my $5 tier is by far the most popular tier, I didn't consider mirroring the two upper tiers to be a huge priority right now. I'm still thinking about how to handle it, but for now the short answer is no. I won't be mirroring the two upper tiers until I can figure out a way to get the HD images into the feed without having to make compromises.

I'm not really into CRAZY levels of blood or bloodplay, but even light levels of vampirism were banned on here. The vampirism wouldn't be "Hellsing" levels of bloodplay, but originally the Djinn used the blood of their Maestros in order to maintain their connection to the physical plane. Being ethereal in nature, they would need a constant sample of the genetic code of their host in order to survive. That sample would be gathered by "blood" or "bond". So while Nailah's ongoing samples are gathered by "bond" (sex), Tsenaya's would be gathered by "blood" (Xill would occasionally need her to let him have a little of her blood). It's a little spoilery but hey, you asked!

2021-05-14 23:47:59 +0000 UTCThe thing is I only have so much time to draw per month, which means I absolutely must use that time to provide material for this patreon or else the feed goes dead and you guys leave! If I can't post what I draw in the feed of either Subscribestar or Patreon it looks like I've gone quiet and people will un-sub. That's no bueno, and it's the reason why I don't do store-exclusive stuff. Most people just don't pay attention that closely.

No need to attract their attention querying them. Like Latency said; they don't seem to go out of their way to police this stuff. After all a mutual friend of ours has been uploading banned content without any trouble.

I'm well aware that Subscribestar isn't nearly as popular as Patreon and that it would be nearly impossible to transfer my business there without something drastic happening with Patreon's ToS first.

Again, the mirror isn't really for financial purposes or trying to get a better rate, it's more because of Patreon's possible anti-porn moves in the future and the anti-fetish moves they've made in the past.

I thought about having it be "open" somewhere but if you look at the character model I honestly think it's a skin-suit under a little armor and it probably opens in the back or somewhere that's not "sexy". Besides, I understand this isn't the best pose for it, but 01 is supposed to be a completely SFW picture. It's not supposed to show any naughties. There will be many other versions for that <3.

2021-05-14 18:30:25 +0000 UTCThe short answer to that is that Patreon mostly relies on people reporting content. They don't do much in the way of content inspection on their own. So if someone reported the link as a violation of tos then you'd be in trouble.

I'm not sure if Patreon goes as deep as to inspect stuff that's distributed using their platform, but isn't actually SHOWN on their platform. Like, would they punish me if I distributed links to "banned' material, or would they simply not care? In short, I just don't know yet. I'll need to shoot off an email to their compliance department to make sure. I really don't want to make them angry hahah ^_^;;...

For those already on patreon, any way we can get the original pages with it if you've sketched them (same for the original pages of Sleepless Night)? Or the specific subscribstar sensitive content for that matter? Perhaps if they were included in the monthly archive instead of a post?
