You guys are missing some lore that makes things make a lot more sense (Re:Zero Season 3 Break Time episodes (especially S3E05 and S3E06)). Also, you guys were surprised that the witch cult didnt intervene during the speech, the reason is simple. The witch cult has NEVER lost, they view humans as bugs, trash. A dragon would not care what a silly little ant says, so when Subaru made the speech yes they heard it but they simply did not give a f****. Reinhards dad kidnapping Felt is simple so dont overthink it, its in his character to kidnap her.
