I was thinking about maybe a zombie themed thing with Ansel wanting to kill Evan, but then realizing he only wants his heart and so following him around in hope to be noticed, almost dying. His heart could start beating again after spending time with Evan and become human again (I know it’s a movie, but I like this so much)

First of all: truly exciting opportunity to weigh in! So thank you! I like a lot of these ideas! SomeBunny, what you’ve done really well so far is keep the stories (even the specials) grounded in some sort of reality. If it’s a special (and unrelated to the main story) I think it would be cool if Evan and Ansel (and friends) were dared to go into a spooky house for a Halloween (costume?) party of sorts in the neighborhood Evan could dress up as a vampire (for those who asked for it above) and Ansel could dress up as a with or maybe even a bunny (just to toe the line 😅 — thinking either Donny Darko or A Christmas Story) The party goes on, with various characters pulling their own gags, or doing their own ‘jump scares’ throughout But right as things get NSFW for Evan and Ansel, someone screams. Little do they know (and won’t find out until the end) that the house was actually being used as a hideout by criminals (a perfect cover for their illegal activities) And so when the party gets started, the criminals have to take action and start trying to kidnap them — hence the screams! Of course it would be up to Evan to keep Ansel from exposing his magic — until Evan is near kidnapped! Because of the inherent campy origins (Scooby Doo, Mickey Mouse, etc.) it could be cute, funny, with some legitimate peril and yet It could also be Until Dawn / Cabin in the Woods inspired and take a more horror tone— But knowing you, I bet you could blend them thematically

Or the truly terrifying option... what if Ansel will lose his magic as a punishment from a committee and Allison will get it instead. While Evan would still have connection to said magic. ( Somehow I think it would be Evans nightmare or something XD).

Saliendo de estereotipos clasicos en los comics y la animación, involucrando criaturas de fantasía... Qué tal algo al estilo Scream? No como las películas, que resultaba más cómico que aterrador por lo mal que plasman al asesino slayer, sino como la serie de Netflix, que entendió mejor la concepción del asesino y el terror de la persecución sigilosa y acosadora. Otro punto a explotar, es que Scream siempre se caracterizó por tener bien oculto, muy cerca de su protagonista, al asesino enmascarado (casi siempre como un familiar o la pareja de su prota), que a veces incluso se hacía pasar por víctima para despistar la atención de sí mismo. A mí me gustaría ver algo así, acá denso y pesado, muy dramático ❤️

OOO OOO! Evan could be someone who was cursed to become some sort of monstrous (yet smexy), feral beast of the forest or something and Ansel meets him when he gets lost there. Maybe Evan got injured badly or is weak from hunger and is initially hostile towards Ansel until he helps him. Cue Ansel acquiring 1 furry or scaley stalker/bodyguard who won't stop touching him and doesn't know what a shirt is! ...Sorry, my imagination ran wild there -////-;

Hmm. Spooky, huh? You could do something similar to Guillermo Del Toro's The Shape of Water, and have a monster/human situation going on. With the strange claws that Evan has in the main series, you could have Evan be some kind of feral monster that takes a liking to Ansel. He can look fully inhuman or just have monstrous features (fangs, horns, scales, etc.) It could be like a fun sneak peek to how he'll look later in the series when the hand thing is explained or if not that, where you can showcase old concept art for that plot point as kind of like a teaser. I personally want it to be NSFW with stuff like scenting, biting, outdoor sex. I really want to see an adorably, affectionate, feral Evan and flustered Ansel. That's only if you're comfortable with that.

A possible idea is a body swap accident. It could be do to lots of different reasons a hall of mirrors thing, a magic artifact that only works one day a year and lost by an ancient witch long ago, etc. Anyway the have to go to school etc. as each other until fixed. “Ansel” becomes more sporty as Evan takes over his body but he has to deal with magic and with siblings. “Evan” becomes awkward, uncoordinated, unsporty, and his style becomes more colorful. One big hurdle for both is dressing/undressing “themselves” 😏

Maybe they visit a theme park for a double date or something and go inside a haunted house then when it gets dark things get heated (romanticly) and Ansel’s power start to go haywire and turn the props to life and one of the props is a spirit of some real folk lore and they take Evan with them. You could end with a love boat ride or a Ferris wheel love scene.

Ok. Este será un tipo What if…? La historia de Ansel y Evan era la misma hasta este punto. Pero en Hallowen Ansel se la pasa todo el día tratando de convencer a Evan de ir a pedir dulces, él al principio se niega, pero luego Ansel hace cara cute y Evan acepta. Cuando es de noche ya, ambos están caminando por una calle completamente desierta, Ansel lleva la chamarra de Evan y caminan abrazados. Ansel tiene un poco de chocolate embarrado en su mejilla, y cuando Evan intenta quitárselo Ansel lo besa. Mientras ambos se están besando aparece un portal que lleva a Ansel con el comité de las brujas, ahí también está Arya. Pero la escuela estará embrujada con zombies y cosas así. Las brujas decidieron ponerle otra prueba a Ansel: él tendría que pasar toda la noche encerrado en la escuela, junto con su familiar. Cuando las brujas preguntan por su familiar, Ansel se pone nervioso y cree que será su final, Arya dice su familiar ya lo está esperando en la escuela, las brujas se quedan mirándolos, así como de “Sospecho…”. Pero tienen papeleo que ordenar o algo así, y lo dejan irse. Ansel no puede oponerse y con otro portal es enviado a la escuela, ahí también ya está Evan, confundido y preocupado por Ansel. Cuando llegan Arya le dice a Ansel que debe tener cuidado con esa prueba, porque puede ser peligroso para Evan, ya que él es mortal, así que debe protegerlo, Evan se rie al principio hasta que se da cuenta que hablan enserio. Antes de entrar Ansel le pide ayuda a Arya, le pide que se quede con ellos en la escuela y así no ocurra nada malo, Arya le contesta que no puede hacer eso, aunque quisiera, pues, esta vez la escuela tiene un hechizo y le señala una línea roja pintada en la entrada de la escuela, nadie que no fuera la bruja (Ansel) o su familiar (Evan) podía entrar, pero tal vez podía enseñarle un pequeño truco. Entonces, Arya trata de enseñarle algunos “Hechizos de defensa” a Ansel, pero ninguno le sale muy bien. Al final, Arya se despide ellos, pero antes le advierte a Ansel que nada de lo que verá adentro es real, no son personas reales, ni gente que conoce, todo es una ilusión que terminará el siguiente día a las 9:00 am, así que no debe preocuparse por convertir en cenizas los que se encuentra adentro. Bueno, si es que tiene suerte con algún hechizo. Luego Evan abre las puertas de la escuela y ambos entran. Toda la escuela esta oscura, no se ve nada, tratan de encender la luz, pero no funciona. Evan convence a Ansel de caminar por la escuela, Ansel se abraza al brazo de Evan, y le dice que lo protegerá, y Evan le contesta algo como: “Me gusta ser quién te protege a ti”. Y mientras caminan, de la nada parecen Allison y Aron convertidos en zombies y comienzan a perseguirlos por toda la escuela, Ansel intenta de nuevo sus hechizo, pero no le resultan. Evan se defiende con un extintor pro tampoco funciona. Y justo cuando están a punto de comerse sus cerebros Ansel toma la mano de Evan y estira su otra mano hacia los zombies, entonces el hechizo de Ayra funciona a la perfección y se deshacen de los zombies. Ambos se levantan y Evan le dice a Ansel que eso fue increíble, pero Ansel estaba más impresionado, no por el hechizo, sino porque ahora también los ojos de Evan estaban brillando. Ambos se impresionan, entonces, Evan trata de replicar el hechizo de Ansel (sin soltar su mano) y también sale perfecto. Luego amos se sueltan y los ojos de Evan vuelven a la normalidad. Ambos, después de sujetarse y soltar sus manos varias veces deducen que mientras se sujetan las manos Ansel siente tranquilidad y confianza y por eso puede hacer los hechizos, mientras que Evan puede hacer magia porque al sujetar la mano de Ansel este canaliza su magia en él uwu. Entonces, vuelven a aparecer más zombies, Ansel y Evan se toman de las manos y comienzan a pelear contra lo zombies (Inserten escenas de acción bien épicas). Al final los vencen a todos y se besan uwu. Cuando ya se estaba poniendo la cosa hot aparece Arya entre la oscuridad, al principio creen que sí es ella, pero después se dan cuenta que es otra ilusión y comienzan a pelear con ella…

ORRRRRRR I just had a thought, idk if you’ve seen the Thriller music video by Michael Jackson but I love that video and it’d be great if you wanted to incorporate that into the theme. It can be just like the video but with a little spice, instead of their car breaking down coming from the date they could be hooking up in the car after the movie date and then when they are getting ready to leave then the car breaks down cause they are out of gas. If you haven’t seen the video you should watch it to see what I’m talking about.
