You met 2 people on a plane and got to see a meet cute in a pressure cooker of a situation where everything is intensified- location, short timing, etc.. All you see are small facets of these people. Then the story progresses and these dynamic people have flaws because they’re humans and they do shitty stuff and you don’t like them anymore? 😂 Jui you rock - love the story - characters are awesome and I think they are really thought out with flaws and idiosyncrasies like real life people have . I find it always feels forced and rushed when people fall in love instantly. I think they had a great spark on the plane and I think the boys are starting to love each other and are getting there but it’s still too early. This is a better story because it’s not wash, rinse and repeat. - meet, fall in love, sex, end of story- but if that’s what you like then I understand this story maybe isn’t for you. JUI KEEP ROCKING IT 🥰🥰

To be honest I think i’m gonna give up on it, which is a shame since I invested the time & money. All respect to Jui, it’s just kinda gone off the rails for me.

I actually like miscommunication in romance stories when it's done right, it's one of the less abusive ways to include conflict in a love story. But this has been dragged out for far too many chapters, it's twisting the characters into people I don't like and above all I can't believe I've been paying for this for so long because up until now they were one of the more open and communicative couples I'd been seeing in comics like these. Ugh. I just hope this gets sorted in the next few chapters.

2024-09-07 05:12:59 +0000 UTCOkay so look. I went back and reread some chapters. Staring around 61/62. Andrew tells Nathan no sex for 3 to 5 dates. So what does Nathan do? He starts jerking off while sitting on Andrew’s legs… Nathan the next day(?) flat out asks if he’s Andrew’s first. And what does Andrew do? He lies to him (granted, out of embarrassment for being a virgin, but still)… Nathan keeps pushing boundaries but he probably expects Andrew to tell him if he’s crossing a line and Andrew goes along with it because he just really likes/wants Nathan; if Andrew wasn’t a virgin, they’d prolly have been going at it like rabbits since the plane. So even though I really wanna say Nathan is just being a little bitch right now, I understand mixed signals. I understand how frustrating they can be. And how painful they can be even if they’re not made with malicious intent. So 🤷🏼♀️ Let’s just hope Nathan uses his big boy brain and puts a stop to this madness. I think if the artist had left, Andrew might have told Nathan everything then and there

Instead of taking Andrew’s seeming disinterest at face value, he should probably do some more digging before he writes Andrew off completely

I love this story and the boys but I don’t know if I can continue to watch their plane go down. Miscommunication happens in adult relationships but I feel like Nathan should have noticed that something is up by now. I’m not saying he wouldn’t give up on Andrew like he is in this chapter I’m just saying I think this could’ve been an awkward unfinished conversation from 4 chapters ago. It makes me sad to see Andrew forced into a corner for a sense of drama or tension. Very real tension can exist in a world where they communicate but want different things. Edit: I just want to say this story has had a lot of cute moments and has brought me a lot of joy. That being said, red flag behavior is a standard for this genre which makes me sad. Sorry for the novel but Jui I really have loved these characters since I started reading at chapter 12’s release. I will continue to support and subscribe but wanted to share my thoughts.

Sex is clearly make-or-break for him and Andrew’s giving him a lot of mixed signals instead of being direct with what he wants and likes. In the real world, most would have peaced out a while ago because someone not having a good grip on what they like and want sexually is a walking red flag in your late twenties
