TWAB: ... Almost February? Already? Nani?!
Added 2025-01-29 03:19:55 +0000 UTC

This month went by faster than expected... I was looking at the calendar yesterday and only just noticed that January is almost over! I appreciate how much much quieter my life is under the new work format, though I feel like I could be doing a bit more.
I'm still behind on sketch requests. I have to get to them soon, but I'm sure you understand why I have not wanted to let them dominate my time lately. I want to create for the fun of it, not for the obligation -- but I definitely have to be mindful that I don't screw you guys.
Comic Progress:
I'm in the process of outlining & scripting the next Beaumont comic. While there is not yet a specified page count, it is the longest comic I will have ever created and might contain over a hundred pages. That's a lot... Which means scripting will also take a while.
The overall outline is still in progress, but the first chapter alone may contain 12 pages (that's as much as each of my previous comics). So that should give you an idea of the much larger scope this project has compared to prior works...
That is what I have spent most of my time on during the last week. I will probably continue to focus on this for a bit, as I suspect many of you will be particularly excited for such a project, so I appreciate your patience. In the meantime, if I can make tiny little comics to immerse you in that world, I may do so.
Game Development:
Unfortunately, I did not dedicate any time to game development this last week either. I do want to get back to this work, however... Perhaps I need to set a weekly goal, like FemLink Friday, but for game development, to give myself a little push.
Closing:
How do you feel about the experience of this month? Was it comfortable? Was it too quiet for you? Did you enjoy content uploads having their own dedicated posts?
Don't forget to eat & sleep.

It's been a good month! I'm keen to see those requests done, and I am hoping you do more variants with that Link base you made but those can easily be done in Feb and beyond.

2025-01-29 07:26:03 +0000 UTCOoo, I'm so looking forward to this new Beaumont comic you're making! As for this month, it was pretty chill and relaxing. I like the way you handled sharing your content to us. It felt good to see your sketches, illustrations, and blogs appear every few days or so. While this month went by pretty fast, it also gave you a chance to just get accustomed to your new model and I think it helped you relax and take things at your own place.

2025-01-29 04:49:41 +0000 UTCIt was a good month; you've shared plenty of great pics and regularly post to keep us up to date on the behind the scenes goings on. I do like the separate posts for the sketches, it makes it easier to make sure I don't miss anything - and it is a nice treat to see a new post. (I also like how you've been able to add a bit more commentary on them in the new format.)
