I can relate to these class differences between Simon and Wilhelm...IT's a Bit Like that between a friend and me...me being in the privileged role...although i'm older and learned alot in my early twenties and am still learning...actually Omars Sommerparat Podcast opened my eyes as well

2024-04-01 11:03:43 +0000 UTCThe first part of my comments on episode three would fit here as well, and it’s something you said here, that if Simon and his mother had been a part of the conversation with Wille’s advisor Farima then he would have a better idea of how he needs to negotiate social media and such. It was unfair to put all of that on Wille. I think I understand why Simon gets upset with Wille during the campout, because he knows that his friends see it as condescending for Wille to equate his “prince school” with the kind of jobs they need to have spending money, and that it feels that way to him too. I agree that Wille was trying to diffuse a tense situation when he said that, and he certainly didn’t mean to be condescending, but it’s also easy to understand why they would take it that way.
