Just saw this, so watch again. Elle clearly comes to a decision while talking to Nick about feelings on the Louvre staircase. She then goes to Tao, pulls him to his feet, and drags him away from the group. From then on, whenever Tao's looking somewhere else, she keeps getting this wicked little grin as she looks at him. She knows what she's going to do, she's just waiting for the right moment.

For example: You can't see the horizon, but you can deduce and visualize it from other visual cues. So visualize the horizon on one side of the lady, then on the other side. Do they match?

The metro station was called Ecole du coeur which means school of the heart and I googled this because I'd never heard of this station and, of course, it doesn't exist. They made a special new station name just for heartstopper. (Maybe it's in the comics?)

2023-09-09 22:57:20 +0000 UTCFYI William Gao (Tao) and his sister Olivia Hardy are the musical duo called Wasia Project. Apparently William is a classically trained pianist and also plays the violin. They've released a few records and performed at several festivals. The final song of the final episode of Heartstopper season 2 is one of their compositions. 😀

2023-09-08 22:36:28 +0000 UTCGuessing their hotel is supposed to be west of the city center so we see the coach pass the Arc de Triomphe to establish they're heading into the prime tourist area. I haven't lived in Paris (yet) but I've managed to visit a number of times and how they're depicted moving around mostly makes sense. The fabricated École du Coeur (school of the heart) metro station at the end not withstanding.

This is a really good episode, and one of the happiest moments is the kiss between Tao and Elle. I personally have never fainted, but I would imagine that it’s quite scary and disoriented. I love that Nick handles the situation so maturely. By the way, the security guard who stops them from above, is played by the director, Euros Lyn. And the French word for love is, of course, amour (Nick actually uses it in the scene). I hope the rest of your trip continues to be a happy one!
