Beneath the bustling city streets lies a dank, forgotten world where filth and rot flow unchecked. But just because it’s out of sight doesn’t mean it’s harmless. What monstrous things might lurk in the shadows of this putrid underbelly—or worse, what horrors has it created? The slimes that call this place home wait in the darkness, eager for the foolish or the brave to wander into their slimy domain… and become their next meal.

Description

Beneath the city, a maze of rusted, putrid channels crisscross, fed by thick pipes and countless drains. These fetid pathways guide the city's waste deeper underground, converging in a vast, dank drainage chamber. Narrow walkways offer partial access, but their grimy, sludge-encrusted surfaces make every step treacherous—and a fall into the murky depths below would be disastrous.

Notes

Drains and pipes control the flow of waste through the channels, and if the party is unlucky, an empty channel could fill in seconds.
Decay and encrusted grime cover every surface, making much of the area difficult terrain and posing challenges even for the most nimble adventurers.
Choking smog and noxious gases fill the air, threatening to impair vision, choke the lungs, or even cause unconsciousness.
The main drainage chamber's grate has long been torn open. Did something escape, or was something powerful enough to break free?
