Hail Friends!

Things are still under construction, but we are progressing forward with good progress. I have a couple things that are coming to fruition I want to share with you all. Hope you are as excited about them as I am.

October Map Ideas:

October maps are underway, with the first already dropped! Wasn’t able to get to all the ideas from last month but those are still on the docket.

• Haint’s Hideout - Released 
• Artic Fort
• More Ships – Modular (see section”New Map Types” below)
• Vineyard
• Barrow Dungeon – An extension of the forest checkpoint map (more to come on this)

Map Resolutions - A Poll

In an effort to reduce the amount of extra work put into post-processing tasks I want to reach out and see what resolutions you all want for your maps. I have been providing 2K and 4K resolutions. I am wondering if we can reduce this to just 4K, or if there is another single resolution that you would all prefer? 70 dpi? 140 dpi? 8K? 300 dpi? I will post a poll shortly, we can access what everyone is looking for and go from there.

Theme Polls

I am closing the polls on map themes and types and will be compiling the results. Hopefully I can use these to help guide some of the upcoming content. Always open and willing to take ideas if anything new crosses your mind.

Seasonal Map Pack – Trailblazers

So, I am a bit behind in schedule on this one. I made a pretty drastic change to how I wanted to present this and have been working on the rewrite and hope to get this out very soon. Still not entirely sure if this format will be the final iteration. Looking forward to hearing what you all have to say.

Goal Fulfillment

Very excited to see that we are right up next to our goal of 15 patrons, at 14. The last goal of a Dungeondraft map is out, check it out, I put together a snazzy little one-pager adventure with in. Thus, we have two goal rewards still in the works.

· A release of my first one shot (Work will begin once seasonal pack in done)

· Monster/Villain/BBEG lair of your choice (we will start voting on this soon)

With everything else that has been going on, this was put on the back burner. I was only able to get out one video from last months maps. Albeit it was a doozy of a map and took multiple videos to squeeze it all in. I have been recording some of my other sessions, so hopefully more soon for those of you that like this kind of thing.

New Map Types

Something that has come up in the map making circles I'm in has been the ability to create transparent background stamps that can act as stickers on your battlemaps. Imagine a sticker of one of our naval ships, with completely transparent background, that can be placed on scenery maps wherever you want. Calms waves, massive storms, tranquil bay, nighttime docks, etc. And you can move them around with all the action of your players! Other things like layered buildings and transition pieces are also possible.

I wont get into the fine details but I think I have figured out the first major hurtle of making this possible, legal licensing of art and assets…. a boring but very important topic. Long story short, I now have the ability to start work on producing content like I described above. The next step is figuring out how to make it all a reality. Hope to share more with you all soon.

So, I posted about this a little while back, but our discord channel is now live. Come hang out and chat! I have started posting update pictures and soliciting feedback from everyone on things they might want added or ideas on developing the maps. Loving the ability to interact with you all more.

Right now, it is all patrons, but that will soon change. I will be opening it up to the public once I feel comfortable with my ability to moderate the space. Don’t worry, there is still a patron only section for us to chat a little more closely!
