The sage Matreous has inexplicably disappeared from her private study room in the library of Candlekeep and the Avowed has asked for assistance in resolving the disappearance. The sage had been studying “The Joy of Extradimensional Spaces” a treatise on extradimensional spaces, specifically the famous spell “Mordenkainen’s magnificent mansion.” The author claims to have been able to create a permanent version of the spell, a monumental accomplishment. Many researchers have pursued the book over the years, but all have failed to find proof of this deed. Maybe that has changed? A short adventure from the Candlekeep Mysteries anthology.
