Patreon Fee Changes
Added 2017-12-15 01:30:49 +0000 UTCSo I had been formulating an official response to Patreon's upcoming fee changes. I wasn't happy with them, I didn't support them, and I had no option to opt out of that change. I was loosing some support because of this, and that was totally understandable.
Luckily, before I could figure out how to deal with this, Patreon heard people's complaints and actually decided to cancel this plan of proposed fee changes.
I just wanted to take a moment to say thanks to those that didn't drop support when this change was mentioned. I'd also like to thank those of you that went out of your way to re-pledge after they cancelled it. That means a lot! And to those that I lost along the way, no hard feelings at all. I am eternally grateful for any and all support I get from you all be it a one time $1 or a continuous pledge of $100. It all counts, it all makes this crazy idea to run a channel about my passion possible. It all really validates the work that I do and I am so happy you guys are along for the ride.
You guys are the reason in that nearly a YEAR I have been able to deliver on my promise I made when launching this Patreon of bringing you an episode every single Friday. I am so glad I've been able to maintain that, and if the support of this channel continues to grow, who knows, maybe one day, maybe in 2018 I can go at this thing %100 and commit my full time efforts to it. A man can dream right?
