The mystery man mentions Andor fought on Mimban, that's the mud planet that Solo fought on where he met Chewie. Andor and Solo might have met each other and not even known it. The Senator Mon Mothma was in Rogue One, in that movie she one of the leaders of the rebellion. Rogue One takes place about 5 years in the future. She had more of a Beatles looking haircut in Rogue One.
