I felt bad for Souther and his two right hand officer people. It so was unexpected when that officer lady snapped the neck of Nguyen's assistant. But really guys, the time to try that mutiny was right after Souther got shot, not five minutes later when all the other bridge crew loyal to Souther walked off the bridge. I just feel like they timed their moment badly. Also Nia, the "Vesta Blockade" also referred to as the "Vesta Incident" happened 40 years before. It's been talked about by characters for like a second or two. But it gives us a reason now why Nguyen is so pro war with Mars, he's got trauma and hatred for Mars because of Vesta. Finally the "can't stop the work" line that Kotoa says is also what protomolecule Julie said to Miller when they finally met.
