YES! It is Prometheus! Now that I think of it, it definitely was a little unsettling and horror like... is that the level I can expect in Alien? I was waiting for the next one to come out cause I just remember being confused about something...

2023-01-13 15:48:43 +0000 UTCI'm willing to bet money that the movie you're thinking of -- which had a creature in somebody's stomach -- was "Prometheus". You're right that it is very similar to the diner scene here, because "Prometheus" is a prequel to the 1979 sci-fi film "Alien". The diner scene is a parody of "Alien", which is almost as big an influence on sci-fi as "Star Wars" is. Except while "Star Wars" is action/adventure, "Alien" is sci-fi HORROR. It's very good and I highly recommend it, but it is TENSE and SCARY.
