The first person out of the door in a airborne assault is called the "door jumper". The last person is called a "stick pusher". I used to jump the AT-4 ("modern" bazooka) a lot, so I was always the door jumper. After "sound off for equipment check" (the jump procedure is still basically the same), the door jumper is supposed to hold his hand out sort of in a shark attack manner while calling out "all okay Jump Master!", and the Jump Master hits his hand to confirm he heard the "all okay"... I used to do this stupid thing nobody but me knew, where I would say "all okay drunk bastard!" but no one could really hear me because of the loud-ass engines! I just got a kick out of calling someone who outranks me severely a drunk bastard. I'm a simple man.
