2022-05-24 18:48:23 +0000 UTCThe second movie is a prequel, then the third and fourth movies are set after this one. There isn't really a continuing storyline, more just a continuing theme of going after relics/strange mysteries. This was the first movie I ever saw in a theater and I had nightmares for ages afterward... that melting scene and the spiders... and yet it became one of my favorites as a kid.
