But when the two get back from their unexpected night out, things can't get any easier for Gorya. Not only is her family in need of money to pay some loan sharks, but a secret photographer is spreading the news of her and Thyme's date all around the school. Afterward, Gorya and Thyme get even closer as he shows up at her house and is invited for his first-ever real family meal while Kavin and MJ scoop up Gorya's friend Kaning to convince her to talk some sense into Gorya.

2024-05-08 00:28:22 +0000 UTCCan we just acknowledge the crowning win of product placement has to go to Demolition Man and Taco Bell. I mean..come on. THAT was over the top. :) Again, this version is very realistic with all the relationships. It's a well done coming of age story. There is something specific about Ren. They started hinting with the Teddy Bear. It is explored more in the other versions but can't remember if it is here. The fact the Thyme told her a story when he saw that handkerchief instead of flying off the handle is already showing tremendous growth for him.
