But she has no where to go, so Shin finds her a home that looks a little lonely for our poor girl. Once she can't take the loneliness any longer, she finally summons him for a funny night of him drunk, her answering questions, and raiding a local mart for some snackies. With all this going on, her family seems to be cursed with forgetfulness as their arrested for stealing gold, our reaper is pinning after Sunny, and Shin sees off an old friend to his peaceful resting place. We end back in maple land where Shin admits to himself that he might be falling in love.

2023-10-15 04:55:33 +0000 UTCRegarding the treatment of Eun Tak by her homeroom teacher, I read that this is typical in SK culture where orphans are discriminated on because of the importance they put on family lineage. As for the old guy not reincarnating because he did not drink the tea, the tea is not a requirement to reincarnate. It's a choice given to the souls to start on a clean slate when/if they reincarnate. The timing of the reincarnation doesn't coincide with the tea drinking. The good goes to heaven, the bad goes to hell. How long you stay in hell or heaven before you get reincarnated, nobody knows. It can happen right away, or it can happen after 100 years, or it may not happen at all. I do love the idea of reincarnating when there's something you need to settle or do better. But in this story, they do talk about reincarnating up to 3x, so living 4 lives.
