My ID is Gangnam Beauty Ep. 15

It's the second to last episode and we're so happy to see Kyunseok and Mirae be open about their relationship. This one has a lot of cute moments as we watch them get comfortable with one another. But Sua seems to be on a downward spiral as her secrets get out, her temper gets carried away, and her possible stalker gets closer.

This episode always has me squeeing tbh. I do love how clear it is that Mirae has grown more confident in herself, even if it takes Herculean effort on her part. And the fact that Kyung Seok keeps reassuring her that he is fine anyway (though I agree with Mer that he shouldn't have to) is part of what helps her take the initiative because she feels guilty for making him put up with it. Oh, Sua! I agree that she is living in a prison of her own making, but she's also responding (incredibly unhealthily) to a society that tells women they're only as valuable as their looks, and they're only valuable at all if they're #1. Let's get the girl some therapy!

I didn't realize there would be a personal connection to you guys with It's Ok to Not be Ok. Then I think you will be hit even harder. So prepare yourself. It is a beautiful and touching drama. You have nothing to worry about the FL's relationship with the brother. It's the opposite in fact. But this drama is not an easy watch. There are dramas where I'd be bawling my eyes out like in CLOY or Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol, but they are still for the most part, easy to watch. This drama just strips you bare and makes you re-examine how you look at the world. The story is told not just from the perspective of the older brother who is autistic but also from the perspective of the younger brother as the caregiver. Then there's also the story of the FL herself, one of the most unique FL characters I've seen, as well as the side characters who are struggling with mental illness. This drama received many awards, including the highest award (think Oscar's, well I guess Emmy's for TV) for best supporting actor for the actor who played the autistic older brother. It will be a en emotional but hopefully healing journey, and I look forward to experiencing it with you ladies.
