This episode was what kind of highlighted why Kyung Seok is one for Mi Rae. He likes her for being her. He always noticed mi rae's personality..Her dance, her being funny & TA was attracted to her because she was.pretty. For a girl like Mi Rae, who is so insecure by her looks, she needs someone who tells her he likes her no matter how she looks. That one line of kyung seok is what made me love him so madly. Another thing that I loved about Kyung seok how he told Sua, I would not have been rude to you if your feelings towards me were sincere even if I didn't like you but you are faking it & you are mentally ill. He is the 1st one to notice how mental sua is. Plus, he will wait for her. TA was way more shallow in the webtoon.

2023-07-23 06:39:42 +0000 UTCI don't think Mirae told Kyung Seok's mom who she likes, just that she likes a boy. That would be out of character for her to confess to the mom. Regarding the diet pill scene, Mer is on to something. Sua is not staying skinny just from the pill and you will see it in the next episode, which will bring home Kyung Seok's mom's wise words, that the "pretty girl" may not be so different from Mirae after all.

He said he asked her how she felt about him, and she was like, "IDK how do YOU feel about ME?" so he had to confess first lol. Also, interesting point about Wooyoung's confession to Mirae is that the drama definitely sets him up to be kinder and warmer than the webtoon (a change I'm very happy with). His "I like you cuz you're pretty" thing in the webtoon was exactly as shallow as it sounded, as opposed to here where he salvaged it. I have a whole essay on the ~preferences he listed (double eyelids, fair skin, thin) being societal brainwashing and harmful in and of themselves, but I know that's a much larger problem than the specific character saying the line lol. Finally: PLEASE PUT KYUNGSEOK OUT OF HIS MISERY, MIRAE, I AM BEGGING YOU!
