Yohan has power to see things by touching essence of monsters. Psychometry actually. In the 1st or 2nd episode too he saw what happened when he touched those spikes, horns like stuff that lust demons left behind and this time he saw that through those slug, leeches kind of stuff that Gungtan left behind. I just hate how late they show yohan's power. Like he has many and they don't emphasize enough. Also, I get you guys when you were saying - 'she is finally awaken' because same. I hated this too that they they showed her awakening this late. I was shocked to see Gungtan going batshit crazy by killing everyone.
