We get introduced to our three heroes, learn a bit about these horny lust demons (seriously, Mer?), gain and lose a dramatic grapefruit, and fan girl over two devastatingly good-looking guys. (You already know one!) But most of all, while we get a few glimpses of Van and Father Giovanni(Johan?), we watch Miho's story really get going as the life she knows is sabotaged and she's sent to Jeju Island to try and fix her image. We can't say enough how much we love this strong female lead done right, or how great the effects are right out the gate! This one already has us hooked!

Miho is more heiress spoiled selfish brat but glad again they put some warmth to her . My favorite is ep 6 and i look forward to u guys getting into that ending . I hope it gives u the biggest cliffhanger u dont need for us to vote aNd just go right dive in to S2 😂

2023-02-15 02:41:25 +0000 UTCI am happy you guys liked it so far. The first two episodes are set up, things start moving forward from episode 3rd onwards and episode 5 & 6 are my fav. Van is demon slayer who was forced to become one and you got that already from flashback. Won Miho is in the center of all this chaos and Father Giovanni aka Johan as per Amazon but actually Yohan has his own responsibilities. Pay attention to what that possessed demon was telling to Yohan. This is just a start. Many wanted to be possessed after watching this drama in Korea as well as internationally. BTW, Eunwoo was speaking Italian in the 1st episode and his pronunciation was awesome

2023-02-13 17:14:27 +0000 UTCThis is one of the very first k-dramas I'm watching (the only other one I watched from beginning to end is Squid Game) and I'm loving it. I'm not used to watching too much gore either and my reactions are the same as Mer's with the slugs and the kids and so on. But the story is so interesting and the cast is so good I was hooked from the first minute. I love all characters and yes was so disappointed with secretary grapefruit! But the interactions between the main characters will make up for it. Glad you enjoyed. Can't wait for the next episode

Island had enough action and "gore" that my brother started watching it over my shoulder. I kept telling him to leave, but he hung out for about 20 minutes which was annoying to me since I wanted this to be my "alone time." Then he wanted to know about Mer and Free, and I was so done! Yes, adults acting like we were still teenagers! But, I digress! I liked the webtoon, but already, I know I like this better. I've seen all of the leads in other K-dramas, so I'm really happy they are all together in this. Great chemistry! I know Eun Woo's part will get bigger as the story progresses, so I will patiently wait for him to show those moves on which he spent so much time training. I don't know what other K-drama you are watching now; maybe Nam-gil's "Fiery Priest?" He was also in the movie "Pirates" (with Son Ye-Jin). Eun Woo brought me to this movie, but when I saw Nam-Gil was in it, I was very happy too!!!!! The special effects and make up are excellent! The scenes with the children are pretty intense, so I can see why a disclaimer was written in the beginning of the film.

Mostly especially ones that have jump scares like this did for me but because of Eunwoo, of course, I was interested in seeing what this was about. This first episode already had me closing my eyes at times & yelping during jump scares. That’s how much of a scaredy-cat I am lol but it was definitely worth putting my big girl’s pants on for the next episodes. They casted so well in this drama and can’t wait to see you all fall in love with them even more
