I will never understand that ranking for skz. Never. It's like top 5 performances in kingdom. They did so great. Did y'all know that the performance is heavily speculated to be about Hyunjin? The statue has the 8th ring they made and is symbolizing a boy being taken from them and them being willing to cross any line to get him back. They'll tear down heaven and earth to get him back. It makes so much sense that the performance was for/about Hyunjin.

Peniel was Bang Chan's first friend when he moved to Korea (Peniel was still a trainee at JYPE at the time) so when Peniel left and debuted with BTOB, they stayed in touch. It felt like a full circle moment for them to share their music with each other.

2023-01-16 06:33:16 +0000 UTCIn some ways, I wish I hadn't already seen this series so that I could share your excitement and suspense when the rankings are announced. All six performances were amazing. One thing that must have been especially difficult for each group was rating their peers. You can see how much they respect and enjoy each other, as well as the performances; so that's got to be hard for them. I love how BtoB was in the hallway cheering and praising Stray Kids. That particular scene, as well as their positive "cheerleader" attitude towards the younger groups made me take notice. I wanted to get to know more about them. Also, I agree with Mer. I don't think one crack in vocals was enough to rank Stray Kids so low. I think that although they performed well, the extreme darker concept (from the original) may not have worked for everyone, since they're being judged on a variety of things. BTW: Look forward to more sexiness from SF9, especially one particular performance! You'll know it when you see it. That thought should cheer up anyone not happy with the rankings.
