Of course, it's only the first three performances of the round but we are already blown away as The Boyz take on a sexy concept, SF9 creates a full-blown movie on the stage, and iKON takes on a new sound while making it their own.

2023-01-26 04:58:30 +0000 UTCMy heart breaks when I listen to some of the conversations of the lower ranked teams. These guys are leaving it all "on the floor," and beating themselves up for mistakes; they just want to put on a good performance, but certainly their agencies were upset that they "didn't get the memo" that it was possible to exceed the initial agreed upon budget. A letter of explanation/apology was eventually issued by MNET. They pretty much had to because one of the groups' agencies accused CJ M&N (MNET) of manipulation because they have an investment in one of the competing groups' agencies. As pointed out in an earlier episode text, this competition got off on the wrong foot. And if you're a K Pop fan, you desperately want your contestant or group to advance or win, but victory is more meaningful when it's fair. FYI: MNET was prosecuted and convicted in the past of bribery, voter manipulation and vote rigging on their reality competition shows. Fines were paid, people went to jail, and unfairly eliminated contestants were paid compensation. Did they learn their lesson? Who knows. On this episode, IKON, SF9, and the Boyz did incredible interpretations of their selected songs!!
