Also we're getting more mysterious hints and clues as to what or who Ho Dam is and maybe even if he's connected to Yi Rim while He-Ryung gets put thing the ringer by the senior historians. At this rate, some of these historian guys are going to get an ear full from some ticked off K-Cord Girls.

There was nothing at this point that was shown to indicate that the other 3 selected girls were cheaters. We know that one of them is going to be a spy, but they weren't shown getting answers. I think the cheaters were eliminated when the crown prince noticed similarities in answers/handwriting and said something.

2022-10-09 20:48:10 +0000 UTCI love Prince Jin and the historian officer whose presence is keeping the juvinile historians in check. The Jin is so slick and smart. He educated Hae-Ryung on why her answer was 'wrong' in front of a historian so it was recorded. The fact that she didn't argue back, understood his point of giving people hope and where he was coming from, won her spot as a historian. That grin he gave her was like a proud older brother. She is the younger sister he doesn't have and is like Yirim-who we all know he adores. The fact that he encourages Yirim's escapes is awesome.

I love how this show explores gender dynamics and inequality without hitting you over the head with its message. It really manages to be both educational and entertaining lmao. And poor Yirim with his visions and dreams of the Hodam story... Speaking of, I really hope he is ready and willing to give The People what they want in his next drama: a whole shirtless scene lmao!
