I loved the confused reactions at the end of this episode!!!! When I saw this for the first time, I remember that I was not happy that I had to wait another week for everything to be explained and sorted out. I'm shocked that I still had tears watching this today. I think it's a testament to the actors, the writing, and directing. They know how to tug at our emotions. Suho and Ju-Kyung are so happy that I wanted Seo-Jun to have someone he could date, but if Han Seo Jun wants to be a trainee and debut, realistically, it would be difficult to date. Fans are so possessive of their idols. Some contracts even have no dating clauses; or idols have to date secretly which would be extremely stressful after a while. I mean Twitter, Instagram, and You tube were going crazy (not in a good way) when it was suggested that V of BTS was dating Jennie of Blackpink. Without spoiling the webtoon, I'll just say that this dilemma is explored a little more in the webtoon than the K-drama. Also, although the K drama is a little different than the webtoon, I think that the drama overall "gets it right." The details don't have to be exact. For example, it really doesn't matter that in the webtoon Selena is Suho's sister. The important idea is that she is a makeup influencer that Ju-Kyung admires, follows, and wants to be like. Yes, Selena's character is more developed in the webtoon, but the drama is only 16 episodes, and can't possibly cover everything. I love the changes that we see in True Beauty the K drama. I think it beautifully captures the overall plot, heart, and soul of the webtoon, and how each character grows, matures, and heals in order to reach their "happy place."

2022-09-06 04:30:31 +0000 UTCI love the idea of a time-jump because we get to see where our faves go, but I hate that they purposely dangle the last minute breakup for extra tension because it's totally unrealistic that they would be in stasis for 2 years like that - especially with communication AND travel being so easy nowadays. It's like a relic from early 2000s kdramas that no one asked for lmao. That aside, I LOVE how caring and understanding Suho was this episode. I feel like how much he grew and evolved often gets overshadowed by the 11th hour timejump, so I'm glad you guys pointed it out! Finally: heck yes, we deserve baby Grapefruit!

So good!

I sub to a few other reactors (on and off because they do not do Astro content regularly like you, pretty sure you're the only one I know of who does A LOT and consistently), but aside from commenting on their YT/Patreon videos, I am not active in their discords/community because I get nervous chatting with large groups of people I don't know. Yours was different because not only are you all around my age and friendly, but the community was small when I joined so I felt comfortable chatting for the first time. And since it grew around me after I joined, I don't have that initial fear of jumping into a crowd lol. Idk if that makes sense, but it does to me. And I don't think you realize how much that has helped me. For over a year after getting into kpop I was too scared to even comment on YouTube videos or retweet a twitter post even though I had no followers lol, that's how bad my social media phobia was. It's still there, like I can fangirl like a crazy person in discord because it's a closed forum, but I still can't get myself to act like the nut I am on such a public space like twitter - but at least I'm not scared to retweet things now. PROGRESS!! Also, I never mind if you don't reply to my comments! Don't ever feel obligated! 2. Eunwoo is scared of heights (and everything tbh), so that scene where he's avoiding the glass floor on the pier is him really being scared lol. I think they show it in the behind the scenes. 3. Just as Khaira had mentioned as well, everyone who read the webtoon before watching this was just waiting for the part where Suho has to go to the US. Even with the drama being so different from the webtoon, that plot point was just so important that I knew it would have to be included. Anyway, hope you had fun waiting!! At least after I watch this you only have to wait 1 more day lol

BTW, Cha Eunwoo was offered 3 songs to choose from, he chose love so fine because he thought the song will be soft ballad but it was a bit peppy. I don't know which 2 other songs were which he was given to sing. It's funny how bad suho draws when Cha Eunwoo is actually paints well. He has shared his paintings with fans but thn he is all-rounder.

Mine was slightly worse because I had been reading the webtoon so I knew the story plot and was wondering/worrying how or if they changed things and those damn teasers didn't help at all! Now....Free especially, Kleenex makes these wonderful travel size tissue boxes. Come in a 4 pack. They are round and short; think a skinner, smaller version of a Pringles can. They are the perfect size to squeeze under the edge of your monitor and the desk. Just saying. Moonbin and Sanha's poster is a legit real picture from their In-Out subunit debut. There are behind the scenes stuff for those photoshoots on Astro's YouTube channel. You will need water and a fan. I almost lost it when I thought you missed it. The name of their group is a play on the group Ateez. There will be more chances to see the Move Ent. posters. One of them is a still from the 'Bad Idea' MV. It's the clock on the red wall. I loved how the family just accepted Grapefruit, no questions asked. He was adopted, you're ours, and you are not escaping. Yes there is more Grapefruit action but no spoilers on what. You didn't mention it in the recording so I'm not sure you caught it. The last confrontation/encounter with Sujin, her lip is busted in the corner hinting her dad smacked her again later on because it wasn't busted when she was screaming in the living room. I personally am sticking around. When TB is done I am going to go back and watch Tempted. I couldn't finish that one on my own because I couldn't get into Cruel Intentions but with your reactions I might be able to do it. Your reactions are hilarious and genuine. You have managed to carve out a fabulous little corner of the internet with Discord and Patreon. This community feels very warm and safe to explore new groups and where I plan to fall down more rabbit holes.

I haven't missed any of your reactions on Astro, I love them. I hope you will react on other Eunwoo’s drama, especially Rookie historian. I know you like Astro a lot so I think I will be part of the team again.
