It was probably helpful to the trainees to have an opportunity to ask TXT questions about being an idol, not to mention the encouragement they received. The smiles were sooooo wonderful to see. HYBE/Big Hit doesn't miss an opportunity to promote their stars (BTS, TXT, etc ). At first, I thought it wasn't fair to not count the original 4 trainees from I-Land, but I think the judges just really wanted to push the rest of the guys to go ALL OUT. Honestly, when I think about the I-Land performances and these "Howling" performances, these guys need to "bring it!" The Judges are getting ready to select a debut group, and they need to see some knock out performances. They already know what K, Taki, and the others are capable of. K is an all rounder; they already know that. I'll be sad if some of my favorites don't make the cut, but if they're not ready, then they're not ready. Just like in the formation of Monsta X: for those cut, it wasn't the end; guys went on to have careers. sidenote: I wonder what happened to cute little Daniel who made it to the final round of I-Land. He was rather young, and I wonder if he went back to training or just left.
