I'm rewatching this and I'm crying like the first time 😭 Go ahead and hate Sujin character, that's how you know you're living the drama, cause at first you don't know that she's gonna change. Sooo, about Moonbin's web drama, between both "Mermaid Prince" I highly recommend the one "Mermaid Prince: The Beginning" cause like someone mentioned before, the other one is confusing 😂 I still don't get what's the drama about.

Of course, because we didn’t know how it was going to end. So go ahead and feel and react the way you are currently feeling. That’s why I’m rewatching this with you guys for the 8th time. To bring back the same feelings I had the first time I watched it. I do love your reaction to the wall kiss. Bwahaha! I’ve been waiting since episode 1. 🤪 When you are done with TB, do watch the behind the scenes. Eunwoo was so cute when they were shooting that scene. The director said he did a good job and he was so embarrassed that he covered his face with the back of his hand like when you’re wiping your eyes. So adorable!

2022-08-22 00:15:57 +0000 UTCI agree with Choco Shine, “my ID is Gangnam beauty” is the same but it's a little less , Eunwoo's role is exactly the same, personally I didn’t like the female lead, by having watch True beauty you might be disappointed. "Rookie histrian" is totally different and Eunwoo is so adorable and funny, but this drama is unknown yet I think he really excels in his role, with his beautiful smile so stunning, but I don't know why some netizens really slaughtered him in the criticism for his role. Some comments was really mean. Luckily Eunwoo has strong and that didn't discourage. For "Mermaid prince", I love Monnbin in it, he is so handsome but I didn't understand the story anyway, it's a web drama not too long, but apart from admiring Monnbin's physique I didn't find the story interesting. On the other hand Rocky’s webdrama "Broke Rookie star" is very I interesting Rocky is really great, he has a lot of talent.

Although I sympathize concerning SuJin's abuse and personal pain, does that really give her an excuse to trash Ju kyung's life? Yes, hurt people sometimes hurt others. Is it understandable? Yes. Justifiable? No. Anyway, I won't spoil if/how the writers later try to redeem her character. But watching this again, I still feel the same way. And yes, can't wait for the Astro references coming up!! So cute how they're woven into the story.

2022-08-21 12:52:09 +0000 UTCSujin is the very definition of the manipulative frenemy high schooler right now. Absolutely hate her behavior, hate her. Those feelings are totally valid! I was annoyed, mad, disappointed etc., too on my first watch through. What we/I are saying is there is a reason and a good explanation for her behavior later. We see some of it now, we get it but we hate it. The writers didn't just turn her into a mean girl and throw away all the fabulous character traits she had for the first 10 episodes. We are saying hang in there and keep a sliver of hope for Sujin. The writing for TB is excellent. It got a LOT of hate because it didn't follow the webtoon exactly-which is f-ing ridiculous in my not so humble opinion. The Webtoon has been going since 2018. That is 4 years of content, 2 at the time of production. I believe the author is finishing it up (or has, I don't fast pass that one) this year. There is no way the screen writers could get all that into 16 episodes. When adapting text stories into visual media things are going to get cut. As long as the key anchor events (the suicide, the car accident) and plot lines are kept (Suho and Jugeong bonding over horror comics) it's fine. People get so fanatical that if every little detail is not kept, every plotline not developed, they lose their ____ and trash the entire show, cast and crew. Characters were added (dad) or adapted to move the main story line and key sub lines along. I don't want to spoil the webtoon in case you read it or anyone else is in the process of it. It boils down to the main question of 'What is the main story?" Every pivotal character is fully fleshed out with a reason for their actions. Even the bullies have been given a reason for their behavior in the webtoon....4 years later! One other thing: Jugeong isn't just upset with Hye Min for standing by and recording when the bullies publically embarressed her. We get that was self-preservation and Hye min didn't want to be a target too. In the 1st (maybe 2nd?) episode after that happens, she looks at her phone and all the texts she sent to Hye Min and that girl never responded. Jugeong says, "I guess only I thought we were friends." That is the other hurt she is still carrying around. I think it's this next episode...might be the one after, that has a huge Astro easter egg you can't miss. The entire scene will have you laughing hard so have those tissues handy for the laughter tears.

Anyway, you should see Behind the scene of this kiss. Search True Beauty BTS Eng Sub, you can find them. Cha Eunwoo and Gayoung are actually friends for long as both were in the same university so Behind the scenes are fun. Lot of laughter and teasing. That wall kiss was epic. Yes, Eunwoo has eczema. He gets that when he is overworked and tired and during True Beauty, Cha Eunwoo was also preparing for Astro comeback and was MC for 3 different shows - one music gayo, drama awards and even entertainment award MC. Also, he was a regular member of a variety show, Master in the house. So, he was literally working day and night. He has been working non-stop since 2018. In fact, Fantagio was almost bankrupt in 2018. The old CEO went to prison as he stole some money. Eunwoo kind of save that agency because of his dramas. He auditioned for My Id Is Gangnam Beauty in 2018, was selected. Drama became big hit and he was just working and working and kind of stablized the whole agency else Astro would have disbanded in year 2018 and Fantagio Music would have been dissolved. Crazy time. During MIIGB time, Eunwoo used to sleep for 3-4 hours max and even during sets he fell asleep when someone else was shooting. He was so tired.
