If you're seeing this, you're supporting us for $2 or more a month (thank you!) and it is time for you to suggest a game for Dan's next playthrough!

---------> SUGGEST A GAME HERE   <---------

Guidelines

All game suggestions are welcome! That said, there are some factors which might make a game less likely to be picked for the final vote, such as...

If you aren't sure about the game you want to suggest, feel free to ask me about it in the replies below!

I'm excited to see your suggestions!

Comments

For future reference, would Kena: Bridge of Spirits be of any interest?

KitiRama

Made one suggestion but if you want a Sunday game, Heaven's Vault is a Language Game akin to Chants of Sennaar

Chris Collins

Stuck a singleplayer suggestion in the form, but I feel compelled to also mention how extremely PlayFrame vibes the Cat Quest series would be for possible co-op shenanigans. Lighthearted, tons of charm and humour, and ENDLESS CAT PUNS. (The first game is singleplayer only, but each installment is its own separate story with only some background lore in common, so you can skip straight to the co-op titles without missing much.) Also Great God Grove feels like a perfect Sunday slot title.

MoreCoffee

I put in a suggestion for Chained Echoes; it's a beautiful retro-style rpg inspired by Chrono Trigger and Secrets of Mana, it has a surprisingly affecting story and fun combat, and most importantly I never hear anyone else talk about it and gosh darn it, the game just deserves more recognition

Space_Turbulence

AER: Memories of Old it is, then! An older game, but very charming, and has vibes reminiscent of Avatar: the Last Airbender and Sky: Children of the Light. Not very long, either! Probably about 4-6 episodes worth, if I'm remembering correctly, depending on how much you explore?

comprehensive galaxy

Trying in off time sounds reasonable for that one!

PlayFrame

I'm debating whether to recommend Eidolon -- it's a very atmospheric game that's ostensibly about survival in a post-apocalyptic environment, but is really about piecing together the lives of people who have passed, via collected pieces of multimedia. Some of the storylines do deal with uncomfortable/heavy subject matter, but it's written, not visually depicted in any way. Maybe not the best option for a stream, but something to try in your off time?

comprehensive galaxy

That's it, based on the latest Astrobot episode I have no choice but to suggest the Pa Rappa/ Jammer Lammy series. Short, fun, and very slightly absurd.

Finvaara

That’s completely fair. I’ll change my vote to Duck Hunt

Kevin Flanigan

The slow start and considerable length are a tough combo... The game gets suggested a lot, so I KNOW there must be something great in there, and if it were just a 10-20 hour game, I'd gladly take my chances on it. But committing to a 35+ hour multi-month playthrough without any early indications that it's going to appeal to me is a harder sell....

PlayFrame

For me personally, I loved how the combat evolved over the course of the game and the puzzles in the dungeons. From a larger LP perspective I think the wider cast of characters and the humor would be well received on your channel. You’re not alone in finding the opening hours a bit sluggish, but it opened up into a really satisfying experience for me and ended up being one of the very few games I 100%’ed.

Kevin Flanigan

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on what makes CrossCode special! I've tried dipping into the early hours a few times after seeing it pop up in these votes so often, but nothing I've seen so far has really grabbed me.

PlayFrame

I really really enjoyed 1000xResist so I suggested another underrated Sci-Fi mind screw game that’s close to my heart: 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim! I hope you check it out Dan, amazing music, mind bending story and gorgeous Vanillaware Visuals! It’s an underrated classic!

Jordan Glazer

I've been tossing my hat in for Crosscode since I joined. I really want to see Dan play through this one. It checks so many boxes of things he tends to like. But yes, it's probably on the longer side (standard RPG length of 40-50 hours, though editing may cut some of that down).

Nyzmeth

I feel like Crosscode would fit the channel well, though it might be a tad long.

Kevin Flanigan

It's gonna really not to just put 'Rise of the Golden Idol'. Especially seeing how much you and Carrie enjoyed Case in the first episode

Friendly Neighbourhood Joe

Would Until Then by Polychroma Games be of any interest to anyone?

KitiRama

The form lets you change your pick if you want to suggest a different one instead!

PlayFrame

I'm gonna put in Oneshot once again. I just love that game so much and I think the vibes of it really fits your channel!

JoyceW-Art

Oh nevermind just saw it's the playthrough you just started! Am I psychic? Did I glance it earlier and forget? We'll never know

Friendly Neighbourhood Joe

I would love to see a Case of the Golden Idol playthrough! Though it might serve better as a Dan & Carrie sunday playthrough.

Friendly Neighbourhood Joe

Another suggestion : any Ace Attorney game !

Matt Lakits doesn't have the mental energy to update their Patreon name anymore, but still listens to every episode avidly!

I'd love to see you tackling Quintet games on the SNES, especially Terranigma, a childhood favourite! Also one of the FF Pixel remasters, such as II, IV or VI, if you're not already sick of those games after doing your videos on new frame plus. Or FFX, because I personnally didn't vibe with its opening hours but I'd gladly watch you going through it.

There are simply too many good options.

Oliver Hood

I put in my suggestion, but here's some others to ruminate over: Animal Well, Sea of Stars, Mouthwashing, Thank Goodness You're Here!

Efrain Benavides

Just suggest Lies of P. I know you had your reservations from that one stream but I hope you can give it another shot

Kenneth

I want to suggest Inscryption, but it does have some horror elements, which isn't really the vibe here. The game is so cool from a design perspective, though, so any shot at this one or already vetoed?

Antimuffin

I think Horizon Forbidden West is acceptable! It's on the long side for sure, but not nearly so ginormous as a Persona or Baldur's Gate 3 or something :P

PlayFrame

I believe it has been mentioned on the channel ones or twice but I would love to see a playthrough of EarthBound

DemoniacDeath

Animal Well for sure

Tim Hawkins

Love the idea but Potionomics is like... 80 hours?

Mark Whiting

Pentiment! Great art, great writing, great themes, great atmosphere. Great opportunity for silly voices on some characters. Totally unique, not that long. Great mystery, not too graphic. Choices matter, all that. It's about history and art and other important resonant items. You are an artist Dan. Thou must!

Mark Whiting

Bump for this. Been waiting for Dan to do Subnautica - it's a 10/10 on all fronts

Mark Whiting

Would Horizon Forbidden West be too long? Otherwise maybe Pokémon Legends Arceus or Super Mario RPG?

DMJ037

Moved my comment from the other Patreon post to this one XD How about a full playthrough of Potionomics? You did a video or two on it before, but I'd love to see a full run! It got a lot of quality-of-life updates since it came out, too, so you won't have the same frustrations as my playthrough! (my real vote would've been Beastieball, but A) it's not fully released yet, and B) I have a sneaking suspicion you'll do a playthrough anyway once it's out)

Domadet

Pyre gets my vote as usual but Wind Waker gets my runner up as usual.

callowGuru

It's not new by any means, but have you considered Subnautica?

Dan Boger

Can we suggest only one? Or can the form be updated to allow multiple suggestions?

Dan Boger

(It was Ghost Trick- great animation, fun characters, absolutely ZERO padding, and a respectable 10-12 hour runtime)

Sara Winters

I am just going to keep suggesting Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling. Especially now that Dan has played Paper Mario TTYD. It's an Indie RPG whose Dev's said "If Nintendo won't make another game like TTYD, we'll do it ourselves! With bugs... and the most addicitvly fun card mini game since Gwent." Pretty much classic Paper Mario meets Hollow Knight, and for an RPG, it's not that long either, average, not going for 100% completion and all the side quests etc... is only about 25 hours.

Seraphem

As much as I’d love to see a Metaphor play through, that’s a beast of a 80 hour game. Suggested something a lot shorter, let’s see if it makes the shortlist :)

Sara Winters

I know it is a long shot, but would you ever consider playing Legend of Dragoons on the channel?

Winter

I've already submitted my vote for Monster Hunter Wilds, but I also wouldn't mind seeing a playthrough of NEO: The World Ends With You. Anyone else?

Michael McCormack

How about Kaze and The Wild Masks? A spiritual successor to the old DKC series!

MysteriousMrE

Same!

LithiaG

We usually opt to wait for a game's full release before featuring it on the channel, so the odds of a demo suggestion getting picked for the vote are pretty slim :P

PlayFrame

Reminder to add your suggestions to the actual form, not just in replies!

PlayFrame

Will you be interested in demos? Forgotlings just got a demo and the hand drawn art looks goooorgeous!

Mikkel Juel Gregersen

I am so rooting for a Scarlet/Violet story playthrough!!

Myr Lune

I just asked for The Roottrees Are Dead... but you're just starting a different mystery game, so let's get that into the conversation but probably not right away 🤣

Christopher Tate

IMMA HELPER. IMMA POMERANIAN! <3. (I love the 'animation epithets' these character have.)

Kuma

But of retro with the Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver remaster

Daniel Higgins

Pokémon legends arceus, or scarlet/violet since it would also help with the animation collecting!

Courtney Robinson

Just wanted to note that this got me to bump up my membership to Playtron

Cassidy Melczak

Plus, the remake came out recently, and is very good.

LithiaG

Final fantasy X walkthrough. I also like Skies of Arcadia. I only played the demo version of it.

Miss Kingdom

Ghost Trick (contains the best fictional dog committed to code)

LithiaG

Deliver us the Moon and the follow-up Deliver Us Mars are very interesting. Short but quite good.

Erlend Hamnaberg

I would love to see you play Animal well!

Renske van der Wal

I know the humor in the Ratchet & Clank games probably tends towards being a bit raunchier than you'd usually see out of PlayFrame, but if I'm remembering correctly, that aspect was toned down a fair bit in Rift Apart, and I'd love to see an animator play through that.

Eric Ziegler

I know it's been in here before but I'll toss it in again: Skies of Arcadia

Trevor Chart

I would love to see Monster Hunter Wilds. I've also wanted to see Horizon Forbidden West on the channel for ages.

Seerow

I'd love to revisit "The Messenger" from your "Metroidvania Week" a couple of years ago.

Nazrax

Soul Blazer, fun little SNES game and some good music.

Lindsey Pittman

And it has an actual story! A good one!

Font of Wisdom

I mean, I know the Monster Hunter videos haven't been super popular, but Wilds juuuuust came out....
