yes, finally the multiverse returns! something i never understood tho (sorry if i'm rehashing old stuff)...when oliver died and he told barry & sara to look up and they saw planets reforming in space...was that...not the multiverse being reborn? i thought it was? or did they think it was just our own solar system?
anyway, great episode, and i agree with tasha - i wish they had led with this story line.

NO!!! He said " I know what time period you're from Flash and one day soon, I'll know your name."

Honestly we could've had the first half of the season be about them learning about the multiverse existing again and them exploring it. But it was an enjoyable episode for the most part

I agree with your discussion for this reaction, Tre and Tasha. I was watch the episode thinking about time we tie up Bloodwork's SL and finally have Barry learn there's a new post-Crisis multiverse. That birthday age was a smh moment. The writers did drop the ball on that one. Great to see Wally and Iris have on-screen sibling moment. Miss those.
But to see Sendhil, Keiynan, David, and Patrick again was so great. And were getting Matt's Eobard Thawne one final time is the icing on the cake.
This episode and next ones are originally what the season should have been about with the news that Nora isn't going to be a single birth but her and Bart would be twins and get a time jump to see the kids as toddlers/preschoolers before he went back in time becoming his own lightning bolt and starting it all over again.
Gear reaction as usual, guys.ππΏ

Another thing when Oliver was there he said "the lightning chose you" I wonder if we are going to see Barry become that lightning b/c of him going back in time

If you remember he did find out his name in season 2 and when Barry sent him home he told Barry that "now I know your name" he just never seen his face before so now he knows what he look like. I'm also thinking that this is where Thane gets stuck b/c if we remember season 1 he said he had been stuck for 15 years trying to get home

What I realized is thereβs no point stressing about what couldβve been with this season. At least theyβre going off with a great batch of episodes. Better than being trash the rest of the way through
