New stance on cheaters
Added 2022-01-03 03:51:44 +0000 UTCWe've recently decided to take more concrete action against players cheating in our games and have updated our Patreon guidelines accordingly.
In the case a player or Patron is found, with ample proof, to have committed a serious offense during a match of 12v12 or Overthrow, said player will be banned from participating in those games for a full year. Pledge's of Patrons penalized in this manner will **not** be refunded.
For the purposes of this rule, **only** the following behaviors are considered serious enough to warrant a ban:
- Use of in-game cheats, such as zoomout, scripts or maphacks
- Use of racial, transphobic, misogynistic or misandristic slurs in allied or team chat
Any other kind of behavior is not considered a banable offense, we recommend using the 'kick troll' in-game function for other griefing behaviour.
