But the loser of this fight would be mocked and, what was worse, his gods too. All of Egypt would see its shame if the loser at the back had to run in triumphal procession with his hands tied.
So you can imagine that Nafi and Aarun were determined not to have to endure this shame.
Der letzte Kampf des Turniers stand an. Es war der Verliererkampf. Ein Junge würde sich nocheinmal retten können. Aber der Verlierer dieses Kampfes würde verspottet werden und was noch schlimmer war, auch seine Götter. Ganz Ägypten würde seine Schande sehen, wenn der Verlierer ganz hinten, mit gefesselten Händen im Triumphzug laufen musste.
Man kann sich also vorstellen das Nafi und Aarun wild entschlossen waren diese Schande nicht erdulden zu müssen.
