Added 2021-01-22 18:10:40 +0000 UTCWhen the Vikings established small settlements in North America around AD 1000, the Northmen will likely have encountered the many tribes of the Abenaki Indians. Together with the Iroquois, they settled the east coast of North America. Like the Iroquois, the Abenakis had gone over to farming over the centuries. In the summer, the Abenakis wore light clothing, while in the winter they wore long, warm clothing. Our Vikings Sven and his companions meet this civilization.

Als die Wikinger um 1000 n. Chr kleine Siedlungen in Nordamerika gründeten, werden die Nordmänner wahrscheinlich den vielen Stämmen der Abenaki-Indianer begegnet sein. Sie besiedelten zusammen mit den Irokesen die Ostküste Nordamerikas. Wie auch die Irokesen waren die Abenakis im laufe der Jahrhunderte dazu übergegangen Landwirtschaft zu betreiben. Im Sommer war die Kleidung der Abenakis leicht, wärend Sie im Winter lange, warme Kleidung trugen. Auf diese Zivilisation trefen also unsere Wikinger Sven und seine Gefährten.

I appreciate the Indian young woman but I should prefer more young Indian men to face the young Vikings boys in future actions. For characters looking like 40/50 years old I should prefer women.
