CURRENT ASHPIRATIONS (8-21-24)

A couple things have been on my mind recently, and I know I’m terrible at maintaining an online presence and frequent updates on what I’m working on. I decided to make a general update on what’s been going on in my life.

Truth is, I haven’t been very happy lately. It’s been an ongoing pattern that I haven’t yet broken, this cycle of work, burnout, rest, and more work. In fact, I have noticed that my momentum as a content creator has dropped significantly in comparison to when I first started drawing for Patreon and other platforms. I believe it all comes down to a very obvious and real dilemma that I haven’t fully acknowledged until recently. 

I’m an adult content creator, but it is not my passion.

Two years ago, I was laid off from my "real job" and struggled to find employment in my industry, so I opened up an art shop and explored many self employment opportunities while surviving off savings. Last year, I worked on several anime productions making even less than before while growing as an adult content creator.

Adult content was never the main objective. However, it keeps me employed, and I'm grateful for all of my supporters. Thanks to you, I am able to afford a decent home, relax a little, and invest in things that do bring me happiness. That's all I ever wanted.

I want to find a balance between working on adult content and revisiting my passions.

Many of you are familiar with my art and animation. Some of you don't know this, but I am also passionate in music. One of these projects include an original album that will include songs I’ve written and recorded demos for years ago. It took a lot of courage, but I finally decided to commit to the project and signed a contract with an agency to work on my first album, Hourglass.

In addition to this album, I'm in the middle of many collab projects with other musicians, including songs from mainstream anime such as my recent cover of "Fatal" from Oshi no Ko season 2.

Once again, thank you all so much for helping me reach this milestone. I will to my best to continue rewarding you all, my amazing supporters and a community that continues to inspire me through and through.
