Important Announcement

What happened?

Hello everyone, this is pretty important so I'm hoping everyone sees this. The artist that I was commissioning from previously has just blocked me, the past works there wasn't much communication at all but I was satisfied with their work so I never said anything about it. The past round that I did for the voting pieces and they ended up requesting 3 extra days and I didn't mind so I let them. 4 days after that I received one piece (that was not done as I specified) and another one that I had sent over as reference that they ended up just sending over as if it was new work?

I may have mentioned who they were before but please do not go after them about this, I got a refund and they spent time on that one piece, I assume they were upset about me canceling instead of paying double price for one that wasn't correct.

I'm not going to mess with it anymore, I'm just going to look for something else.

How I will proceed

I have absolutely no plans of stopping making this game, I will be continuing to do what I'm doing in terms of every other aspect. That is the biggest thing that I want people to know. Honestly this has been really stressful and frustrating. I have enough art for 1.04 and 1.05 but after that I need to find someone new.

For those that have not been keeping up in the discord, here is a few updates on how 1.04 is going

-done about half of the interactions with objects around the store, underestimated how much things I have added and it took longer than expected! Tmr I'll finish up the object interactions and start on the little storyline there :) figuring out what exactly I should do here, want to make something kind of interesting

-I got this really sick looking plugin for combat in RPGM, not exactly sure how it works in the slightest but I'm going to figure it out for some things maybe :) https://sanghendrix.itch.io/rpg-maker-action-combat-rpg-maker-mz-plugin

-Just finished all of the interactions in the shop, objects, people, random silly events and conversations :) tmr I'm going to be working on a little dress up cutscene for the MC in a new fit! This shop was a lot more work than any other place I have worked on besides maybe the entire school? Although it is debatable so I'm just hoping people enjoy it when it comes out! I'm thinking once I finish that little cutscene and head back to the house it should be only a few days left until complete for 1.04
