Gallery, build-in hint's or bookmarks

Dear all
From time to time, some players request the gallery and/ or build-in hint system.
I make monthly updates as you might have discovered, so within 30 days I need to make images, write code, implement images with story/code, make support, bug fix and maintain previous versions. That's tough to do and hints and galleries are extremely time consuming and cause many errors, so my question is:
Do you want significant less bookmarks and images but have access to gallery and hints or do you want to stick to the current version.
I'm planning to implement 'shift episode' function but wouldn't be before episode 6.

The last event in ep 2 was difficult I know. Nothing is unchangeable so I hope to find a good compromise

I remember how I got stuck in ep2 for a long time and could not find the last event in any way .. And I would not refuse at least a hint where to look for it. Maybe there is a compromise?

Some time ago I considered to remove 1 tier, but today I have almost equally numbers of supporters for the lowest tiers so that will be tough. Diamond and Platinum members are very special tiers with same release date as gold members. I really need to keep many days between the releases as I think that this is fair to them. Please keep in mind that I make new releases every month so in fact the time lap between release dates are exactly the same for all supporters.

2022-02-18 10:33:48 +0000 UTCI don't mean to complain about release dates on a poll but know how you have 3 tiers on the early release and one on the rest of them is any possible way you could like do the the 3 tiers for the early release and two for the second round of releases?

2022-02-17 15:00:49 +0000 UTCJust bring back the option to jump to the next episode when a new update is out. So even if you didn't find all bookmarks you can still go on playing. Otherwise you are stuck and get frustrated and stop playing the game eventually.

Meaning either less frequent updates with same amount of content or same frequency with less content. And honestly, I'm not sure what will work with the current or potentially new patrons. The ultimate hope is that it will bring in more patrons, obviously. I of course want it all, but still monthly updates. 👹 Edit: it very much depends on how much more time the help/hints system will require to be added. If it's 2 weeks per episode, I'd say go for it. 4 Weeks, not so much.

Also, and I suspect a lot of your patrons would agree, the volume and frequency of your updates is, besides the quality of the content, one of your major selling points. So many developers don't release anything for months, but here you are dropping hours of content every month. Keep going 💪

2022-02-17 13:57:07 +0000 UTCThanks for your input. In my opinion this is a balance. I don't want to make a novel however that will of course be easier. In my opinion a novel is just 10 or 15 minutes of clicks and that's it. If it's too easy it will be a novel look a like.

2022-02-17 13:23:11 +0000 UTCNah..To be honest I struggled with following the built-in walkthroughs anyways. And it took too many clicks to get to them. A better solution would be something akin to the RfR mod, that colour coded the new/unseen options. Maybe a symbol that indicates which area of the map had people one could interact with on them at any given time. And if that symbol was grey when the content was seen before it would be great. But if that's a ton of work too, then I'd rather have more content.
